Privacy Policy

To create your song, we collect only what we need:

• •Account & order details — the email you enter at checkout, your order history, and the wizard answers you fill in (occasion, recipient name, relationship, story, musical style, themes).
• •Payment information — handled directly by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
• •Photos — only if you order Premium or Cinematic. Used to render the slideshow video.
• •The generated content — the song MP3, video, cover art, and lyrics we create for you.

We do not collect data we don't need. No tracking pixels across the web, no ad networks, no third-party fingerprinting.

• •To write your lyrics and generate your music.
• •To assemble your slideshow video (if Premium / Cinematic).
• •To email you when your song is ready and store it in your private library for re-download.
• •To respond to your support requests and revisions.
• •To process refunds within the 14-day guarantee window.

We never use your photos, recipient names, or stories to train AI models or for any purpose outside fulfilling your order.

• •Songs and videos are kept in your private library for as long as the account exists, so you can re-download any time.
• •Uploaded photos are kept while your order is active so we can re-render the video if you request a revision. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
• •Order details and email address are kept for accounting and refund-window purposes (typically up to 7 years for tax compliance).
• •Delete-everything requests are honored within 30 days of receipt.

We only share data with the third-party services that make Song4You work. Each is contractually obligated to keep your data confidential.

• •Stripe — payment processing
• •KIE.ai — AI lyrics, music (Suno), animation (Kling), and cover art generation
• •Anthropic & OpenAI — alternate lyric generation
• •Bunny CDN — hosts your songs, videos, and photos
• •Resend — sends your delivery and support emails
• •Railway & Vercel — hosting infrastructure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone for any purpose.

• •Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• •Correction — ask us to fix anything that's inaccurate.
• •Deletion — ask us to delete your account, your photos, your songs, or all of the above.
• •Portability — download your generated songs and videos at any time from your library.
• •Marketing opt-out — we only email you about your orders. We don't run a marketing list, so there's nothing to opt out of.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data:

• •Encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS everywhere)
• •Stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Railway, Vercel, Bunny)
• •Stripe handles all payment data — we never see card numbers
• •Restricted internal access on a need-to-know basis

No system is bulletproof, but we treat your data the way we'd want our own treated.

Songs, lyrics, cover art, and animations are generated by AI based on the details you provide. We give those AI providers only the wizard answers needed for that specific generation. We do not opt into any model-training program with the data you share.

Song4You is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has used Song4You, please contact us and we'll delete the data.

Song4You is operated from the United States. If you are visiting from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the service you consent to this transfer.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when. Material changes will be announced in our delivery emails.
